How Starwise started

A practice, then a system.

For ten years, Lalita read charts the classical way — one chart at a time, in writing, by hand. Each reading took days. The waiting list grew. The methodology stayed the same.

Jayananda watched the bottleneck. The methodology was sound; the delivery wasn't. So we built a custom Jyotish engine — trained on Lalita's ten years of charts, refined through thousands more, supervised at every release. Starwise is the result: classical readings delivered in minutes, with the same depth Lalita would have written by hand, in the same voice.

Ten years of classical Jyotish practice, formally trained in Vedic astrology and bhakti philosophy. Originally read for friends and family — then through word of mouth, the work outgrew her. Every house overlay, every dasha refinement, every classical correspondence Lalita has refined in practice is the source the Starwise reading system reads from. The methodology is hers.

When Lalita is not reading charts she is teaching, raising their four children, and tending an actual garden in actual soil — the kind of work that makes the abstract concrete.

Jayananda · Technology & design
